Q: How can I participate in the tw telecom Channel Sales Program?
A: If you are already working with a direct sales person/team, ask them to initiate the process. If you are not working with an account team, please complete and submit the Channel Sales profile information. You will need to have Adobe Reader version 6.02 or higher in order to open and complete the application.
When you submit your application it will generate an email with the profile information attached. Click on the send button of the email in order to complete the submission of your application. Target response time is 5-7 business days.

Q: Will you negotiate any aspects of the contract?
A: Usually, no. That said, we continue to evolve our channel programs and many improvements are made as a result of feedback. If you have a contract suggestion, please feed it through your channel contact.
- Q: How are channel participants involved after a sale is made and a customer is installed?
A: After install, partners are expected to remain engaged with the customer throughout the life of the contract, and be involved in all subsequent sales – especially if they are being paid a residual commission.
- Q: When do I make a commission versus a one-time payment?
A: It depends on your contract and the products sold. One program pays a residual for everything, another pays a one-time payment for everything, and the third is a hybrid. Ask your channel contact for the differences.
- Q: Will tw telecom be represented at the Channel Partner Show in Las Vegas in March, 2010?
