I’m having problems when I try to apply for a job. Who do I contact?

I was referred for a position by a current tw telecom employee. How do I ensure he/she is recognized for the referral?

The tw telecom employee will submit your information as an Employee Referral in our internal employee jobs portal. Once they submit your information, you will receive an email confirming the submittal and ‘connection’ to that tw telecom employee. Whenever you apply to a job in the future your name will be ‘connected’ to that tw telecom employee.

I’m trying to update my profile, but the system doesn’t recognize me.

If you have problems logging in, check if you have the correct user name (‘Forgot User Name’), then try to recover your password (‘Forgot Your Password’). Creating a job agent does not result in the creation of a profile. If you’re still unable to resolve the issue, please contact our Talent Acquisition Coordinators at: tacoordiantor@twtelecom.com.

No. Please access the internal jobs portal on tw telecom's MyConnect -> Employee Central intranet site.

I am a current tw telecom employee. How do I know if a posted position is a promotion, lateral move or step down for me?

Our job postings don’t list salary or pay grade information. Internal applicants can contact tw telecom’s Talent Acquisition Department at tacoordinator@twtelecom.com for this information. The Recruiter responsible for the position will respond to you directly.

Who is the hiring manager for this position?

For safety and security purposes, tw telecom does not disclose hiring managers’ names unless you are being considered for employment.

What is the salary or pay grade for specific positions?

tw telecom does not disclose salary or pay grade information to outside applicants until they are under active consideration for the position. At that time, a Recruiter may discuss pay ranges with you during the interview process.

Do I need to have a resume in order to apply for a position at tw telecom?

Yes, a resume must be included along with your online application. Submitting an application without a resume is considered an incomplete submission and you will not be considered for the position.

Can I send my resume to Human Resources and be considered for employment with tw telecom?

Do you have part-time job opportunities available?

It is very rare for tw telecom to fill positions on a part-time basis.

Do I have to pass a drug test and background check to be hired at tw telecom?

Yes. All final candidates being considered for employment at tw telecom are required to submit to a criminal background check, employment verification for seven full years, and a drug test. All final candidates being considered for employment in tw telecom’s Field Operations Department also must pass a Motor Vehicle check as part of the background check.

Does tw telecom run credit checks on candidates being considered for hire?

Credit checks are not a standard hiring requirement at tw telecom except for positions with high visibility and access to company financial resources and information.
